Vacant positions at NIVA - freshwater biology and water resource management
NIVA are seeking new candidates with expertise within one or more of the
following fields;
- freshwater ecology, preferably with specialism in phytoplankton,
benthic algae, aquatic vegetation, bottom fauna, fish or other taxonomic
groups
- limnology
- water resource management

*Qualifications; *
MSc or PhD level, or equivalent, within a relevant field.
In addition to formal education, experience with one or more of the
following is required;
- good results and experience from project leadership and contract research
- good knowledge of Norwegian central and local government
administration in regards to the environment
- good knowledge of the EU Water Framework Directivegood
- knowledge concerning Norwegian and international research funding
- a wide national and international research network
- experience of organising and carrying out field studies
